The ceremony, occurring Wednesday 17 May at the London Natural History Museum, celebrates the people, charities, networks and businesses that demonstrate a commitment to equality. ISS joins eleven shortlisted companies, including bp, Sainsburys and Virgin Media O2 in the running for the award.

Kat Parsons, Head of DIB ISS UK & Ireland commented:

"This is fabulous news and testament to all the hard work from both the Global team but also the newly formed UK & Ireland ERG.”

ISS’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are made up of company-wide volunteers, working collaboratively to drive community, equality and prosperity across the ISS group.

Created 5 years ago,  the Global Pride ERG has led the business in supporting and championing the LGBTQIA+ community on a global scale.

Through training, campaigns and policies, the ERG has been invaluable in making ISS a place where workers are free to be their authentic selves. The group's efforts have introduced Pride celebrations to client sites, made ISS the first FM company to incorporate the Pride flag into its corporate logo and cemented the company as a founding committee member of LGBT+ in FM; a collaboration of organisations working together for the UK's LGBT+ community.

As one of the pioneering LGBTQ+ champions in FM, we at ISS look forward to May 17th, and wish the best of luck to all entrants.
